These Terms govern your use of autoexports.live. By creating an account, placing a bid, or listing a vehicle, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Buyer terms
These sections describe your rights and obligations when purchasing vehicles on autoexports.live. Seller commission rates below apply to vendors only; buyer service fees are detailed on the Pricing page.
Buyer obligations
Bids are binding when placed. You must maintain an active paid membership, complete KYC verification, and pay required deposits before bidding or purchasing.
Escrow terms
Purchase funds are held in escrow and released only after independent inspection, export clearance, and documented delivery confirmation.
Vehicle condition disputes
Disputes must be raised within the inspection window using the pre-shipment inspection report. Undisclosed material defects found after delivery may qualify for repair, price adjustment, or refund review.
Shipping and delivery
Carriers and port agents handle in-transit logistics. Risk transfer follows documented handover at destination port unless insurance coverage applies to transit damage.
Refund policy
Full or partial refunds may apply when a vehicle fails agreed inspection standards, export is blocked for disclosed reasons, or delivery cannot be completed under platform logistics obligations.
Non-delivery
If a vehicle is not delivered as contracted, escrow funds remain protected while the platform initiates investigation, rerouting, or refund in line with documented timelines.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes should first be escalated through platform support before formal proceedings.
Limitation of liability
Platform liability is limited to fees paid for the affected transaction except where prohibited by law. Buyers should review landed-cost estimates and inspection reports before committing.
Seller commissions
Commission is deducted from successful auction sales only and is separate from buyer service fees.
7% for final bids up to ₦5,000,000.
6% for final bids above ₦5,000,000 and up to ₦15,000,000.
5% for final bids above ₦15,000,000.
Buyer service fees are separate from seller commissions and are detailed on the Pricing page.
Vendor listing requirements
- Vehicle details must be accurate and truthful.
- Required media categories must be uploaded before submission.
- A walkthrough video is required for seller listings.
- Inspection reports may be uploaded to support listing quality.
Payments, fees, and settings
Verification fees, where enabled, are configured by platform administrators and shown during registration. Payout details provided by vendors are used for sale disbursement only.
